SUSY06 will be hosted by the University of California, Irvine from
12-17 June 2006. The conference will be held at UC Irvine and Newport
Beach on the Pacific Coast, 40 miles south of Los Angeles.
Since their inception in 1993, the SUSY conferences have become the
largest annual international meetings devoted to new ideas in particle
physics. The conferences now encompass studies of supersymmetry,
extra dimensions, Higgs bosons, and electroweak physics; experimental
analyses, searches and bounds (both accelerator and non-accelerator);
neutrino physics; string theory and formal aspects; and connections to
cosmology and astrophysics.
SUSY06 takes place just before the start of the Large Hadron Collider,
widely anticipated to yield profound new results. The scientific
program will include a evening plenary session on Naturalness
with Andrei Linde, Burton Richter, Leonard Susskind, and Frank
Wilczek, and a panel discussion on Getting Ready for the LHC.
With over 250 plenary and parallel presentations, SUSY06 will
provide a focus for the growing excitement in high energy physics, as
theorists and experimentalists discuss new results and plan for the
future.
